The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

Our entry for #AdvJam2016, made in two weeks! You are G. After being given a chance at a new life by an old friend, it's time to return the favour. Note that this game is now only available as part of the A Date in the Park Collector's Edition DLC. A very short first person point and click adventure game, featuring adult themes. A bit of back story about the game - A while back, Troels Pleimert, aka the Space Quest Historian, and I had an idea to swap photographs that would form the basis of a game. For AdventureJam 2016, we swapped pictures on the eve of the jam - giving us two weeks to each work out a story and create a game based on the photos we received from each other. This is my effort... Be sure to check out Troels' entry for the jam, 'Were We Ever?'

A game about someone who is just getting by in life. Some real nice scenery too.

Good little game. I like how it creates a rich backstory with little effort.

Considering the time restraint and the personal challenge set it is a fun little game that kept me entertained through to it's conclusion.
