I once made an awesome MP map for sof2 in my dreams. I can't map so it's useless. But the map is awesome.

I've looked at real-wrold objects thinking "I could SO grind that" after I played too much Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2.

I had exactly the same thing - you know it's bad when you're trying to spot gaps.

"If I could ollie from the library over the bus..."

Ozwalled

Indeed.  ;D

And once I got pretty great at Wallies (ollies off the walls), I started looking at large vertical surfaces thinking: man -- I bet I could Wallie  up that and THEN grind that ledge.

Thnakfully, I can't even stand on a skateboard, otherwise, I'm sure I'd either be in the X Games or dead.... Yeah, probably dead.

This is not so much with adventure games, but more with the Windows environment.

Every time I stuff something up, I think of the "undo" button.

I reckon it's the greatest thing since Monkey Island.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.

have realised that adventure games drive you mad. I was recently playing Full throtle and needed to open the chest in mos room. I got stuck so i left it forÃ,  a bit. I forgot all about it. I was working in my garage when i saw a crowbar. now, this is absolute truth. i oicked up the crowbar, took it up to my room. only THEN realising that it wasn't real life. fortunatley i was home alone, so nobody could mock me. You can all mock me here beacuse, in my mind, you are not real people as you live on the internet. Anybody else done anything crazy whilst playing an adventure game?

I had a similar experience this week. I work with CAD ( Computer Aided Design)
That means that i make blueprints using a computer. But the other day I worked with PAD (Pen Aided Design) meaning that i drew with pen on paper irl, and about every 15:th minute i got that 'I better press save-button' -feeling.  It just didn't feel right to draw whitout saving...

Ok, it's official then - all of us AGSers are raving lunatics who desperatly seek the SAVE button in real life.
Reach for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

Kneel. Now.

Never throw chicken at a Leprechaun.

Sometimes I remark on how the real world looks so much like the graphics on Half-Life 2 and not how much the graphics on Half-Life 2 look like the real world ...

Meanwhile in the future...

IM NOT TEH SPAM

It's kinda sad though... there actually is a save button in my life... hovering above me... always... Sometimes I try to press it, but it's too far away.  So all you adventure game makers better make the save button reachable by the main character, dammit!  There's also  a quit button, but I desperately hope no one knows about it.

I like pie.

I've only had something like this after 20+ hours of playing Final Fantasy. I saw an ostrich at the zoo that day and had the impulse to ride it to avoid encounters.

Yeah had the tony hawk syndrome, maybe still have it and much too my surprise I havent broken anything.
I can hear the Ka chin sound effect when i do something really clever or witty :)
And then again I pretty much live the point and click life style.
I dont like the save button cause sometimes things just need to done right from the begining ;)
Last but not least, that undo thing doesnt sound so bad cause man oh man ill undo all those sleeping
late mornings!
