Yep, I rang you to gain flight information, but then remembered a different way to do it... I've booked the via Geneva flight :) Tried using airmiles but it still worked out at exactly the same price... Guess we don't have many airmiles :P

Mark: what do I do once I get to London? If I get lost I might die, and that would screw up my entire summer.

CJ: Gee thanks, I'll make up a set of in-jokes of my own just for you guys  ¬ ¬ are you leaving sunday night or monday morning, or when, CJ?

m0ds

I believe the simplest way is to travel from London Victoria to Staines via train, then ring me and I picks you up from Staines :) Yah?

Adamski

Mark, is Friday going to be your designated 'drive around Staines and pick people up' day? Much love if you could collect me from that bus station at around 2:10 if you're simeltaniously heading back to Laleham with a spare seat - otherwise I'll grudingly catch the bus and drag anyone else who happens to be there with me.

m0ds

Adam, as far as I'm aware the only person I'm picking up now is MIEZ from LUTON AIRPORT around 11am ish. That means we'll arrive at Brittens about 1.30, so as long as you give me a call sometime after that on my mobile, yes, I'll be able to pick you up :)

I can do lifts for anyone that day but you will have to call my mobile! I've left you a PM with my number. :)

Creed Malay

I am arriving in London at about two-three o-clock on the 30th, then making my way to Laleham. Anyone else arriving that day? Anything I could pick up in town and take to the campsite for people in advance?

I still need somewhere to sleep. magintz, do you still have space left?

Privateer Puddin'

I still have space if magintz doesn't.. i'll be there from fri - mon and there's an airbed for added comfort :D your claim to fame can be that you slept on the same airbed that Pessi did ¬¬

Yes I still do have space left if anyone is still interested

Booked my flight.
I'll arrive on July 1st in the afternoon and leave on July 6th.

I'll be flying to heathrow, and since I know the way to Layeham so well, I'll take the bus this time.

Miez

Me booked as well - I'm arriving friday 1st in the morning and I'll leave monday 4th in the evening.

No getting stung for a cab fare this time eh?  ;D

If anyone needs directions posted, let me know.

Ashen

I could use some directions. Arriving London Victoria coach station, and I can get myself from there to Staines railway station easy enough, so if you could just give me the next leg, that'd be great, thanks.
I know what you're thinking ... Don't think that.

Matt Goble

Okay, when you get to Staines Station, you will need to use the footbridge to cross to the 'Main' side of the station.  In the google map below, the station would be in the bottom right corner, either side of the railway line between "Gresham Road" and "Station Approach".  Station approach isn't a looping road but a car park (I'm guessing the google map team think this is the route around the car par  ;D).

When you cross over you want to take a left and head up "Station Path", until the footpath comes to a T-junction.  Take a left which should take you under the railway.  Go straight across the car park in front of you, and you will be heading towards the Elmsleigh Shopping Centre.

Here's an annotated version!

Cross the road, and you should see the bus station.  You need the one outside BHS. The Bus is 218 and runs I believe twice an hour:

You need to get off at the Church, in Laleham Village.  Walk around the corner to the corner-shop, opposite a pub and you should see signs for the campsite.  If not, walk towards the river via "Ferry Lane", and the campsite is 5-10 mins walk along the road by the river. On the map below, the campsite has been incorporated into 'Laleham Park'.

Hope that all makes sense!

You'll have to go into the entrance at the far end, where you will see signs for reception. Go there, pay and the kind old lady will point you in the right direction to the campsite. Remember to use the name Lovegrove, I doubt she'll be familiar with m0ds :P

Ashen

Cheers, sounds simple enough (although whether I'll think that when I'm actually there is another matter...)

Pumaman

Don't worry, if you get lost you can always give one of us a call, and we can give you false directions and then laugh it up at your expense.

d00d! You're supposed to hide spoilers! Some might get angry. A full walkthrough would be nice though.
