That's right! On May 15, 2010, Ben304 uploaded Oceanspirit Dennis: Scourge of the Underworld to the interwebs -- an event so seismically bad ass, that ripples of its awesomeness are still being felt in remote parts of the world to this very day.

What followed was a deluge of gaming goodness that was so mind-blowing in its amazingness that even the incredibly shoddy nature of the games being released could in no way dampen their enthusiasm and desire to entertain you.

So thank you, the unsung heroes of Square Peniks, for giving hope to millions (possibly billions) and showing the world that you don't need to make a good game to make a game that's good.

I disavow any implication that I might be working on an Oceanspirit Dennis game. Or that it might be called Oceanspirit Dennis: Schoolyard Solicitor.
