It's been a while since Case 7, and I've been pretty quiet on the forums about Case 8, but rest assured I'm still working on it.

In lieu of a GiP thread, I'm posting a link to a second teaser I made.

A full trailer with dialogue and more insight into the story will be ready closer to the game's release. As for when that is, I'll say before December 31st, 2011.

Ooh, Radiohead! I thought Ben was a Pink Floyd man...

Looks good, it evokes the nostalgia of the first Broken Sword game. The Fortune Tellers reminds me of a shop near Covent Garden, and I'd like to imagine that's Highgate Cemetery near the end. Are all the locations real?

I keep wondering why Case 8 is supposed to be such definite end to the series. I'm curious if at the end Ben will just go on to have many more adventures, or will he pass his paranormal investigator's pants to someone else.

Or maybe he will sacrifice himself to stop the forces of evil and die.

He already has, what happened to his green pants? His beige slacks makes the fact that me and my girlfriend refer to him as 'Ol' Greenpants' seem weird.

Ali: Most of the locations are real. The psychic shop isn't, but the cemetery is Pere-Lachaise in Paris.

Ascovel: He won't have more adventures or pass the torch. It's going to be over for him. Interpret that as you will.

Vel: It's not going to be as amazingly non-linear as I had said, but it will have 4 (or maybe 5) different endings based on some choices made in the course of the game.

Could you also make my stats from the previous games importable like in Quest for Glory? Maybe some items too - that would be a blast!

He seems to wear the greenpants only when out in the country, visiting national parks and other remote areas.

Ben will do something in case 8 that causes an end to all worldwide paranormal activity so cannot in all honesty carry on after that knowing it would all be fake. Then he decides to settle down in Florida as a translator for a legal firm and make games about his earlier life...

It's a game taking place in France, like Broken Sword. Wasn't there a ghost in Broken Sword 2. This must be the spiritual succesor, then?

I thought I was the only one getting this. I like ultimatums. I hope this one makes me happy or cry. Both would be awesome.
