I saw this on Twitter the other day, and felt it'd be appreciated by many here:

It's an imgur album of backgrounds from those old LucasArts adventure games that so many people here have loved over the years. There's hundreds of scenes taken from the games here, some truly inspiring artwork.

Awesome find!

The dig's background art is just sooo amazing.

Some of my biggest inspirations in there! Thanks Ben!

Having costrip and ScummRev, and having all the LucasArts adventure games (except Labyrinth...somebody get me a working Labyrinth :(), I already had access to this, and it made me thing that maybe I should do something similar.

It also reminded me how I have no idea what Loom version I have, with the CD with the voice acting, but also with the close-up images and the 256 colours.

I've been looking for something like this for ages, thanks Ben! :D
Life is like an adventure without the pixel hunts.

Impossible to stay focused at work with these to browse through...

Let's make this thread complete with this:

Lot's of Lucas Arts concept art :)

ThreeOhFour

Ahhh, great one there Dirk. Some lovely stuff in that link!

To top it off, the Full Throttle poster I ordered a while ago arrived in the mail today. Hooray! :D

Babar

Damn you, abstauber! Why couldn't you have linked that earlier today so I could've alleviated some boredom at work?

I had actually gotten to that website many times when googling for game screenshots, but I never bothered to read through it...will do now, I guess.

Haha, well then I guess your looking forward for tomorrow's working day :D

@Ben: Is there a store for old LEC stuff? Or is it from eBay?

ThreeOhFour

eBay. How I wish there was a store for old LEC stuff!

Eggie

This is adorable, I want my next game to look like this!

tzachs

A very useful resource, for both inspiration and nostalgia...

Seconded :) Well you can buy some "Tales of MI" stuff, but everything else seems to unofficial crap. One day I'll scan my MI box and create a poster myself.

@Eggie: yeah, that version of MM looks crazy and way better than the Zak's anime-eyes :)

Babar

I seem to remember a couple years ago someone uploaded (or linked?) some pretty large sized posters (some of which seemed to be the same image as on the box-art, but without the borders and stickers and warnings and stuff) of LucasArts games.

I saved MI1, MI2, Day of the Tentacle (one parodying Star Wars and another basically seeming like cleaned up cover art, but in SVG format), Fate of Atlantis, and Sam 'n Max.

Whatever you want, I can upload, just tell me. I'd do them all, but they're pretty big, and my net isn't always at its best...each is around 15-20Mb, and they start around 4724x6301...except the svg.

Looking at these I have suddenly felt a strong urge to replay Day Of The Tentacle... I've only just bought Rage for my PS3 today... but I guess it can wait;)
