tzachs, myself, and we'll meet people on a car on the same ferry. Tier is a mystery, but in theory, he'll be on railsail too.

Disco

It sounds like the ferry will be majority Mitteners! Indeed, there will be 8 of you on that crossing. Maybe that is enough to overthrow the captain and commandeer the ferry for our own use for the week? Something to think about.

Tier is not a mystery (at least as far as transportation to/from the house is concerned). He is only taking the ferry back to the UK. He is flying into Dublin on the 19th.

Miez

I bet you haven't actually SEEN that ferry? It's friggin' huge! :D

tzachs

Awesome, should be a fun ride then.

Can you guys please wear big blue cup hats so that we can recognise you there (and make them huge so that we can see them from afar)?

Creed Malay

I have lots of red hair and a big red beard, you should be able to spot me pretty easily. :)

Awesome, aborting 'big blue cup hats' plan and initiating 'red bearded man' plan    :)...

You can spot Davy easily. Firstly there are several photos from other mittens and secondly, just search for a smoothly dressed and handsome drug baron with a cane.  :D
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Uhh... That may not be the best plan. Ireland is full oh red headed bearded men.

What is the plan for mobile numbers when over there? Especially with the planes and trains crew, since there is every chance someone will get lost.

I'm flying to London next weekend, so Internet will be limited once I get there and I have probably lost everyone's number.

6.00 pm would be cool ;D

About this "me getting picked up at Wexford in the middle of the night"... will one of you guys stay sober and do it?

m0ds

If CJ drinks alcohol he will explode. Isn't he the only one with a car? I'm sure he'll do this for you, he's an amicable fellow! from Laaaandan!

I don't know! Me and Disco will probably meet at Gatwick airport since we are catching the same flight. Our flight goes to Terminal 2. It would be best to get some numbers so people are able to text each other to meet up.

But I think an executive decision should be made to meet at Jamison Bar in Terminal One. It's close to arrivals in Terminal 1 (where I guess most people will be arriving) and will probably be one of the only places with plenty of room to sit. :P

Disco

I assumed we would meet at Arrivals in the terminal of the latter arrivals, which is handy since they are scheduled at the same time and at Terminal 1.

Grundislav is scheduled to appear at Terminal 2, 5 minutes before Snarky and Esseb. Flightmapper does not specify in which terminal Snarky's flight from Zürich lands. Esseb's simultaneous flight from København will be Terminal 1.

My tendency is to be excited and meet people as they come out the door from luggage claim so that is what I will do.

But then I expect you to have an embarrassing poster with a big blue cup on it to welcome us!

Just booked the bus from Dublin to Wexford - hooray 2011, even that's possible online ;D

So around  10 o'clock pm I'll strand in Wexford.

Abstauber: Do you know how much is it (more or less) for a cab from Wexford to Rosslare?

I arrive in Dublin at 12:50, taking the bus from Dublin Airport to Wexford would  get me there (to Wexford) at 17:00.
That would be more or less 5 hours earlier than the dublin-connolly-rosslare path.

Or I could even ask some fellow mitteners for a lift :P

abstauber

Why going to Rosslare by train, it's way faster (although it might be a bit more expensive)? As for the cab, I hope I'll catch the big blue one ;D

But  I have no clue what a real cab might cost.

Edit:
Oh, I just noticed you won't be able to catch the train at 13:30.. bummer.

Creed Malay

Whee, just a few days to go!

A couple of people have asked me to bring some arts for them to buy, so far I'm bringing stuff for Cat, Bici, and Disco. Does anyone else want anything?
