My Game need information

 Hi I'm making a game and i have no idea if some one has already made this game or what but please can you help me? The game is about a man that needs to find pages and there's 25 of them, he has to search the rooms and find all 25 of them in order to complete the game does this sound okay? lol sorry if you don't under stand what i'm trying to say.  if this aint a good idea then i try and make a different game, also what kind of game would this be under?

I already played Myst. Sure it was pretty, but egad is it ever so dull.

Plus, it was part one of a two part punch that pushed Adventure Games out of the limelight.

As you're only 13 years old it's hard to come down on your "idea" with accusations of unoriginality or banality.

Basically it's hard to give any sort of c&c because there is no real substance. Your idea could be great and it could be lousy, impossible to say.

If you really want feedback, you need to compose a much more detailed design document. What will the plot be like? The characters? What kind of puzzles?
I'm tempted to lock this thread and let you wait until you reach the required 16 years, but I guess we could let you elaborate your idea a bit, if there's anything to elaborate.

Simply serching round a room for 25 pages might be a bit boring.  But if there was a certain puzzle that had to be completed in order to retreive each page, then that might make it more interesting.

For example to get, say, page 19, you have to take the bottle of nail varnish remover and pour it over the portrait painting to reveal a hidden code which you use to open the safe behind it.... stuff like that.

Just think of as many everyday household objects as you can and think of all the weird and wonderful ways in which you can use them.
