Yes, you are right. But thats an old demo. It only has a few rooms, you can control Marge, Homer and Lisa, and it doesn't have as much as the new demo that I am about to release.

If anyone would like to offer me some webspace to upload a site with updates and a demo, I may get it out sooner.

Okay, its not an official website, nor is there a new demo available, but some old screenshots as well as some new ones are posted here:

To notice as far as new screenshots are: Marge in the Kitchen with Maggie.

And as far as other screenshots that were not in the previous demo game, are the one where homer is in Moes Tavern and the Map of Springfield.

LOL, that demo haunts me everyday... How I made Homer do that is beyond me.

Maybe I will put a little glitch just as a joke in the Where's maggie game, I dont know... Expect something cooky to happen.

Everything should be upside down in one puzzle. You can get away with it by having Homer drink some beers in a cut-scene prior to it. LOL.

Hey there, i've had a look at what you've posted so far, and like i feel bad to critisize something you're so excited about, but to me it looks like a cut & paste job from what was it.. cartoon studio?
Now don't get me wrong, i think its a great idea for some templates.. but it seems to me that while you're relying on ONLY this process as your input to your project (at least as far as the art goes), you're going to stunt your project's growth..
There has never been a simpsons adventure game before, and i for one would rather it be good, than at all..
Just some advice.. it might be wise to drop the multiple character control thing.. At least within the one game (maybe episodes are in order?) Each simpson has a well enough developed personality to warrant them being the protagonist. As far as im concerned Bernard was still the main character in DOTT

So um, im playing with vector graphics at the moment, and i'd be interested in helping out in the art department if you need an extra hand

Well, I also use virtual springfield to use as graphics. So far for my "wheres maggie game" I have enough that I need.

I have been getting help from others who have been able to contribute the art into the game as well.

Yes, my game may not be good, but I would like to make it anyway. I like the Simpsons, and I wanted to try this for a long time.

Besides, look at that sq3 remake, lots of people didn't trust that it would be good. Now they saw the trailer and think differently. I might surprise someone you never know.

in games about tv shows or at least with characters from movies and cartoons it's hard to make a real good adventure looking like the sshow itself. when i first heard you saying you're gonna make a simpson adventure game i thought it would look nothing like the original. after seeing the screenshots i seem to be proven wrong. good work.

I appreciate that, but there is still much work to do to make it good though. I hope I succeed. Once I am done with the game, I am also releasing a template with all the rooms, sprites and graphics for everyone to use. Just thought I would add that.

UPDATE 11/23/03:

I have added more rooms and characters, a better Save Game GUI system, a more detailed intro and everyroom in the house exists now. There are also some puzzles to solve as well.

I also added more dialog options and other stuff for you to mess around with.

There is also a secret way to get into the Alien Ship and a spoof reference to a famous LEC game.

I will allow this game to be downloadable in a week, tops two, well another demo anyways, not the actual game. Right now it has about 20 rooms for you to visit and about 9 characters. But more will be added by the time the new Demo is released.
