From concept art to functional character (voting open)

I didn't notice this contest until last night, so this is a little rushed.



I think it turned out pretty well... can't compete with the others, though.

Everyone who entered did great.  I like the one by Mr. Toad the best (simplicity)  As I said, everyone did a great job.  Its voting time, more or less, what does everyone else think?

As a picture, Darths, dunno how itd be to animate as a functional character though!

I like the one of pixelcat the most, but I can't tell you why. I just like it. But the other ones are also great.

I also like Pixelcat's better, though Darth's is still very nice.

Pixel cat and Darth both did an excellent job, bit I really don't think that they could be animated neatly in a 256 color game.  They're both kinda exactly like the photo, though very well done. 

My question is, do they represent the 'administrator' well?  CJ isn't a buff black dude, and although that was the concept art, the costume was more of the concept.  That's why I prefer Mr. Toad's.
