Today's topic:

This is a weird one.  Remember those old cartoons where the main character was a flea?  You'd often see a 'forest' of hair in which he lived.  I think there was a 'felix the cat' cartoon along the same lines. 

ASSIGNMENT:

Depict a 'hairy forest.'  It can be whatever style you like, so long as it is recognizable as being fur or hair.  Add whatever denizens or objects you like.

Moreover, can TRUEcolour pics be accepted? As ppl can just draw truecolour pics and then convert them to hi colour afterwards, moreover, saving as JPEG will mean the file would be in truecolour anyways.

I made it using Wacom in Photoshop, atleast I learned a bunch of usefull things when drawing with graphics tablet. Also, it looks more like an ordinary forest.

heh, well... I spent a lot of time today only to come up with this crap:



It's actually 3d and rendered in cel-shading. I coulnd't figure out how to change the background color so I left it white

EDIT: in case you are wondering, it's a flea tower/house/building/whatever on a huge chunk of beige dandruff, in a hair forest

GB, I like yours especially, but I'm at work on a dark screen, so I'll check them all at home.

Yes, I meant basically an unlimited amount of colors, personally I can't tell the diff between 16 bit and 24 bit and 32 bit (of course, alpha blending doesn't count.)  and either 200 or 240.
