Just a reminder to people. This competition is for creating backgrounds for games, not screenshots. Characters should not appear in the picture unless they are part of the background.
Damn it! Am I the only one who cares about the rules???!?!?!
But seriously; pictures with characters will actually be disqualified, so ya'll better remove them before the deadline.

OK. The competition is over. Not as many entries as we could have hoped for, but alas.

It's not easy to decide, but I would have to go for Neutron's BG.
I has nice use of colors and a dreamy quality to it and gives me the feeling of a bittersweet departure. ~~Start a new one as soon as you get a good idea!~~

So, YOkes decision is not final

even though the final decision is probably the same..

Anyway, my vote is for Darth, for doing something different, but not too different.

Neutron's BG was more artistic, but puddin's felt more adventure gamish to me.

This Background's just great. The only point to not use a background like this in a game would be that all art would have to be as brilliant as this is.
