Character and Background

Okay, so I haven't had a chance to do the walkcycle on that char yet, I tend to do big animations in bits in pieces...so, sorry bout that. I really just wanted to post here to ask what people think of this new bg I made for a conversation in my newest project.

I'm hoping by posting this picture I don't bring about the "Announcing a game and never finishing it curse"...

So, I'm not really annoucing it, really...

Oh yeah, and It's obvious the gui is nowhere near finished, it's just to show the general idea. I'm gonna try to make a little more "spacey" and make new buttons ect...

I don't know what game this is for ... but I'm really looking forward to it! (Or do I know??!)

The lines in the middle of his neck could maybe use some shading (on the inside towards his adams apple area). Other than that it just rocks

I really like the background behind the guy. The machine lookin' thing. It's quite neat-o!

It's for a game I am making tentativly titled "Stan and Sancho save the day"

but thats just tentative...heh

Currently I have most of the bg's done for the first half and much of what I call the foundation laid for the rest....so thats about all to tell about that...

I do see what your saying about the neck though, so I'll go spruce it up...thanks...

Looks great, Squinky. I really like it. You've got a nice distinctive style! But y'know.. what happened to Pirate Fry 2 (or did I miss it)!?

No, you didn't miss it...I've been stuck at many different points while making it, even redoing it a couple of times, and lately I've chalked it up to a learning game and moved on....

Maybe someday though...

No, I shouldn't give up on it soon. It seems to be where my inspiration lies. And I'm trying to use the same formula of creation that I used for fry 3, which really took me less than 3 weeks if I remember right...
