I really like the style and all, tho i gotta say.. imo its rather sick to make a nudity of a 12-year old girl..

why dont you try out this talent on a nice 24-year round-booped woman.. cause really.. you do got the talent.

EDIT: checked out your website, there are some nice 24-ish sexy women there.. thats good :)

Igor

DonB, haha believe me, she's well over 20

THIS is exactly what i'm aiming to go for with my current art. I would love you forever if you could give me a few pointers igor, feel free to check out my thread here:  http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=26400.0

And i think the image is just perfect as it is, would look nice with a background mind :)

Yeah, it kinda looks like a camel toe.
Watch, I just killed this topic...

TheYak

Really?  First thing I saw was a hand..  even trying to see it as other things, the three visible fingers still make me think fingers, not labia.

If she's not tanned on her breasts, I'm guessing it's due to a bikini top rather than lack of melanin, so where are the strap lines (horizontal if not vertical)?  If there aren't meant to be any, please give directions to the nearest beach where this type of suit is common (for research purposes, of course).

Hey cpage! :) Busy is all i can say.. was moving in a new appartment and along the way grabed a project or two too many at the same time :)
Anyway it looks like, it will take some time before i'll finally be able to draw/make something for my soul again..

Helm

Igor, why no width variations on the outlines that you've used on the first one? Would probably help. Either that or losing the outlines altogether (im sure you can find another way to differentiate limbs than one flat line)?

the latter post has much, much more lively art.

Nikolas

Philosophical post, so get ready.

Helm (and Igor of course): I understand what you mean, my Greek friend, and I do feel that technically you're right. But on the other hand an artist (and Igor has proven to be one, and I don't say that much) has a right to 'choose the wrong way' sort of saying. For me the 1st post works the best, as it takes out the liveness, as you say correctly, and it is in favour maybe, as it may not want ot attract too much attention.

Sort of that is...

Anyway, I'm here to claim that I'm a fan of both Igor and Helm (for whom I high-jacked sort-of the thread, but not really).

buloght

Igor, that's brilliant work :) Great style!!!

Hey Helm! Thanks for great suggestions! :)
Agree, it would probably look better if i'd get rid of lines completely. Problem is, i think the only way i'd be able to define some parts of the character this way (at least as far as i was trying), would be through using shading.. and i didn't want to go there with this pic. So instead i decided to leave inside lines as they were and only get rid of the outside lines.
Yeah, some parts probably wouldn't need lines even as it is, but if i'd erase them and leave only the most important ones, it would look even more inconsistent.

As for lines with varied thickness- they don't look that good on characters without outlines. Don't know.. did try it out a few times before, but in my opinion, they draw too much attention to themselfs (as there's no outside line, to make a balance), so now i use colored thin lines with this style. They are less dynamic, but at the same time less visible and still there to define character as much as needed.

And thanks Nikolas and Buloght! :) Glad you like it

cpage

Yeah i figured you were busy   you always seem busy   but this like all of your other projects looks great

Great to see you again tho and good luck keeping up with all your work!

ildu

Igor, you truly are Captain Awesome-o.

Helm

Igor: I see, yeah I gave it some thought and you're probably correct in that approach.

Nikolas: people like Igor don't need other users sticking up for their artistic choices. I'm fully aware of how good he is and that's why I didn't just complement him and move on but instead gave him critique.
