Need help on female character

Hi dear Critics Lounge

I need help on creating this female character for my game. I did alot of redrawings, but I'm not satisfied with the result at all.

She looks kinda dump lol. I would be thankfull for every kind of advice how to improve her (especially paintovers

)

She has squint-eyes, her head is big, her neck is too thick and her boobs are too low (it looks like she has 2 melons under each of her armpits). Beside that - I want to marry her.

PS: The big-head-impression comes maybe from the thick neck and low boobs.

Ah yeah her neck is a bit to wide for a woman (inless she's a body builder

lol). Maybe wider hips and a thinner neck, more shading around the nose maybe also. Still a really nice sprite though.

I think, she is good. The eyes are good either. They are only to wide, if you scale the sprite to much. As long it is small, it looks right.

I think her waist might be a little too thin too, especially since she's got broad-ish shoulders.
Nice character, though.

Everyone has basically said what I noticed with this image, notably, crossed eyes, low breasts (and a little large, really), broad shoulders compared to waist/hips, thick neck.

I've done a paintover, using your palette (which is a little odd but works fine) and have come up with some more visual suggestions:

The main thing for me is that the facial features really weren't very clear because of all the shading you had going on in there, so I've tried to emphasise her facial features and keep it a bit simpler.

Hope you get an idea or two from this.

Mm, now the only thing that bothers me, is the fact that her eyebrows look very big and connected to the hair (comes from the thing that they're big). That gives her an evil expression omho (dunno if that's the effect you're looking for).

And I've just noticed that her jacket or whatever this is looks strange around her waist. It somehow overlaps the belt and the trousers but in a strange way.

Beside that she's perfect. And as I wrote before - I want to marry her (if she's still single of course, which I doubt

)

Yep, eyes are crossed and breast has dropped again (not only mutating but aging too

).

Ben304's paintover is best for now. Only the eyebrows need a little bit of work.

Also, although a minor problem, I think the two pixels above her breasts look odd, unnatural. Definately don't do what they're supposed to do. Besides, the breasts don't exactly need any more emphasis.

Some slight changes I made:

changed her eyes to look to the side (having them look forward seemed as if they were crossing)
changed the color of her eyes so they were not as noticeable
lifted her breasts
changed some of the shading on her blouse
changed her weight so she wasn't too hourglass looking
colors changed slightly after saving it as a gif file. (oops!)

Everything's cool except the breast-lifting part. Now it's too...lifted omho

It looks more like a man's breast not a couple of beautiful peaches.

I've noticed two more things while staring at her:

1.Her left boot (the one that's not facing the viewer) is somehow clipped off. Yes, I know it's a side view of the boot, but it still looks strange to me expecially when I follow her left leg down to this boot.
2.On the right trouserleg a little bit under the knee and above the rigth boot, there's a big shade. Where does it come from and why is it so big?
