Okay, not sure if this goes here, but it should. I'm not exactly asking for critique, cause there's barely room for that here.

Okay so here's what I had:

And here's what JimReed helped me fix it to.

My perspective ability has always troubled me.

I am aware what's wrong, I'm just asking if there are some tips or illustrations on how to fix my perspective. I will require that skill, cause the picture above is what I need to be perfect for what I need it for. If this doesn't go here, I apologize.  I'm not posting the final result, cause I don't need critique with that, so hopefully that's okay with all.
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Well do what others do when they try to point out when somebody has trouble with perspective - get a new layer and draw with red (or some other color) the extension of the lines you've drawn. If they meet correctly (depending on what perspective it is) then it's right.

I can spot a few spots where it's wrong, but don't have the time for corrections now. And the roof on that block with window (on the left) surely is wrong, nothing to do with perspective though, but I'll take it as part of the it being a WIP issue.

Btw it seems to me that Jim also missed a bit on the floor lines in that other room in top right part, that could be an optical illusion though

I don't think the perspective is wrong on your version, it's just isometric.

I don't see any problems with Jim Reed's edit either, assuming the thing on the wall is set out from the wall, like a box canvas, and that the room through the crack is intentionally narrower. The floorboards look slightly exaggerated to me, but perfectly acceptable.

Over all, I'm not sure what you're unhappy with!

Jim Reed

Actually, I cheated a bit and drew the floor and some other lines by heart  =P
