Sam.

I have been working on a nice simple quick way to sprite and came up with the following image, I have however been struggling to turn him on one side. Any suggestions?

Bye bye thankyou I love you.

When drawing side views, I often use a loose 'S' shape as a guide to avoid a character looking too rigid. This curves the spine forwards a little, but balances it by bending the characters legs forwards a little. If you then imagine a vertical line running up from his feet, you should aim for the same 'weight' of body either side. Done subtley, it should make the character look well balanced and relaxed.

Bernard in DOTT is an exaggerated example of the stance I mean, as are the Belleville Triplettes from Belleville Rendezvous.

IndieBoy

I decided to give it a wee go to make a side view for you.

I really like the style, the colour choice and skinniness of the guy, it's an awesome sprite. I hope there is a future project in mind, cause game in this style would be awesome ;D

The only person in favour of the mobs seems to be IndieBoy.. but he's scottish so we dont listen to him anyway.

Here's another take, just doing some small edits to IndieBoy's side sprite. Looking at it now, his posture doesn't really seem to match well with the original front sprite, but hopefully it'll give you some ideas and how things could look from the sidelines.

I could do an edit, but I need to know "who" is this guy, for making "genetical design".

Is he strong? Nerd? We need more info...
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!
