Yeah, it is subconsciousness that makes us dream what we dream. My conscious mind wouldn't be stupid enough to torture myself with those weird dreams.

It is possible for the conscious mind to be the boss though. You just need to realize you're dreaming. It is extremely hard though. This would be called lucid dreaming. Heh, I always direct the discussion to this. Anyway, I'm pretty sure almost everyone has had one of those 'hey, I'm dreaming' experiences. Even though lucid dreaming isn't that exactly, but anyway...

Speaking of dreams, anybody else ever have thos dreams where say, your kicking gophers or something, and you wake up because your leg is really kicking?

Lucid dreaming I have read about... it is actually possible durring that sort of dreaming to fully feel as if the environment you are experiencing is real.... bugger VR imagine an environment completely controlled by you in which you can do absolutely anything you want to do...

Mods with lucid dreaming no more worring about endless layers of clothing on girls for you...

I expect it has been done, but someone should make really beautiful dream backgrounds (glances at Pessi) and the character is just that, a character. There is no mission as such just really nice scenery to look at and wonder around in. Like (if you play consoles) when you play Zelda: Ocarine of Time and you just wander around in awe.

I had a dream where I accidently ate a sandwich with poison in it, a kind of poison that did nothing for 24-hours and then made my lungs explode. It turned out that it was part of a conspiracy trying to kill me, and I distinctly remember getting into a knife fight with Larry Vales. I think I killed him but he managed to stab me in the chest, and then I fell down and died.
And this was a lucid dream, which made it all the more interesting.
I've never had a dream with AGSers in it, but I've had some with AGS game characters in it.

I gotta agree with V a bit here, if you have AGS forum-dreams, you're here a bit too much. =]  

My dreams are usually so monotonous or disturbing that they wouldn't be well-shared with the group.  I have a fair amount of hum-drum everyday life dreams that come true.  The rest of the time, it seems, I have evil disturbing abstract dreams.
