Panda: Well ebay is a good place to start. You would have to get it a head of time but not to much. Thrift stores work too. Or you could do it like this one couple in the area... Purple suit and white swing dress... in duct tape... ;)

I don't have any sort of vehicle (mainly because I don't have my license. Shut up!!), but this is what I want:

And this is what I want it to look like:

If I had a Toyota Hiace or was promised one, I would so get my license ASAP. They are beautiful.

Thats a nice model car on a real background...
- Oh great, I'm stuck in colonial times, tentacles are taking over the world, and now the toilets backing up.
- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.

Yes, I noticed that too. It's from an ebay auction of the Matchbox van. I don't know why they put it on a real picture.

During summer classes I took, my mom allowed me to drive her Fiat Selecta :P.   She's back to work, and now I only have to BMW. :(

I did have a 1988 Honda Crx Si...Which looked almost exactly like this..

But then My lovely Ex killed that...and it is sitting in her drive way probobly serving as a nice home for spiders and birds..

My primary mood of transportation now is my friends car..1991 Toyota Mr-2..We call him Senor Dos

Yep it is completely black even the interior. Yes the AC doesn't work. Yes I ride in 120 degrees for half an hour. Yes it sucks. :)

2000 Ford Mustang.

The top one is my color (there are two versions of red for the mustang, the bottom one is brighter and not mind), the bottom one has the same wheels as mine.

How's this for a Zen moment: If a bird craps on a car but there's no-one around to see it, is the car really soiled at all?

Oh, also, what do you guys in the metric world call the mileometer? surely it's not a kilometermeter?

Las Naranjas

Odometer.

At points along the F3 there's signs saying "Odometer test, 500 metres", so you can test whether it's measuring what the RTA calls 5 km as 5km.

And when you're on a road that safe and ergo boring, you tend to test it.

Ah well, if the bird craps on the car and nobody is there to see it....you still see it later when you arrive. The car is still soiled.  And what's worse, it's sitting there embracing crap whilest you diddle your wife.  Shame.

Woohoo..  had to reincarnate an old thread.  This is the first new (not used) vehicle I've purchased and I'm rather happy with it:

Like that but in a metallic blue.

If it didn't cost 25K, I might've been able to pick up a hybrid.  I would've preferred it for its more environmentally-friendly fuel consumption (as well as less of a dent in my budget gas-wise) but couldn't afford one.  Pure electric is terribly impractical still.  As for Summernats... I figured you for more of an environmentalist, Las.  Any car shown there would suck down $150-$200 in petrol per month, I'm sure.

Yay...

Cars...

I have a 1994 Saturn SL1. Here it is:

That's my parent's 2000 Honda Accord EX behind it.

My car is ok. It's my first. The hood has dents because of the previous owner, but the rest of the exterior is nice. The interior is ok, but kind of dirty here and there and the material from the roof was torn off. I paid $1,000 with money I made from work, and my dad paid the other $750 plus $300 or so for a new AC radiator and tires. It has 70K miles now. It was in the high end of 69K when I got it.

It has hardly any shocks left, so every little thing makes it bounce. It has a really annoying squeaky piece on the dashboard toward the passenger side that vibrates when I drive down bad roads.

I'll only have it for another 6 months or so. After that, we'll move away from Hawaii and I won't feel like paying the $800 or whatever to ship it.
Then I'm going to get a 1990 Mustang.

I failed my test first time and still haven't retaken it yet. Should I pass, a 1993 flame red 1.3i Mini Cooper with some lovely additions and some furry dice will finally get out of the garage and on to the road, with me behind the wheel. The heater matrix needs fixing/replacing, though. Argh.

I have a beat-up old Cheavy Pick-Up with a gas can and a chainsaw in the back.   Now match that image up with any of the pictures of me floating around, and I belive the next words out of your mouth will be: "What the fuck??"
