Neither of these facts are really relevant, however, since this is hardly a sexually explicit thread -- why aren't we allowed to have a mature discussion about an adult topic? If a thread doesn't interest you, you're free to ignore it.

I don't remember there being strong objections to a recent thread about contraception ... but surely discussing that was flaunting sex in front of impressionable, innocent young minds?

But yes, just because you find it morally reprehensible doesn't mean everyone does, and it's almost insulting that you impose your morals on us all by telling him to not talk about this sort of thing here.

I, for one, have no problem with his lifestyle and I find his approach to getting information about it to be tactful. It wasn't as if he came in and made a post like "ME AND MY OLD LADY WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH PEOPLE! TELL THE CHILDREN!".

Although it'd be awesome if he did!

Maybe you should bump it up to 21. Most people aren't mature until then.

But you see, this post is HARDLY adult. The minimum age on this forum is SIXTEEN. The legal age of consent in quite a few places is SIXTEEN. No one is being "corrupted". No one is being deprived of their "innocence".

If it was up to me, they'd raise the drinking, smoking and driving age to 21, and all teenagers would be forced to sit at home and watch good wholesome family drama shows on the telly, whilst occasionally having a break to sing songs round the fireplace.
