What is Your Favourite Kitchen Appliance?

I am tired of this "What us your..." Which is your???"... Haven't you had enough? This is just becoming stupid! And now...what? Asking which is the best Kitchen Applicance? This is the stupidititieiest question ever...

Everybody knows that the secret for making good crepes is to beat the dough correctly... So... why asking? The answers is clear... The beating machine!!!!!!

dang.....I am SURE I saw that recently. I just can't remember where!
As for my favourite kitchen appliance, the huge drainer thing. I don't know what it is called, it is like a huge pot with holes in it. Nothing more satisfying than shaking it and watching the water get out. Simplicity all the way! None of those hi-tech internet fridges!

The need for an ice dispenser varies depending on climate. So although I can see the advantage it would have to Naranjas down under, for me having half the freezer going to waste as an ice dispenser is less than necessary, and leads to undue bending down to reach the food - especially as ice dispensers tend to be placed at the top.

As for my favorite kitchen appliance, it would either be the electric kettle or the blender!

Blenders are great! They have so many uses. Smoothies, milkshakes, frogs, getting rid of human remains... The possibilities are endless!

Mmmm... Now I see that I posted a pic of a batter kneader... I think my choice is blender, sorry my proo Inglizh... And my lack of knowleadge of the Kitchen appliances, actually, dad and me haven't been in the kitchen since we preppaired some popcorn for eatingwhile watching the final of the Champion's league Cup that FC Barcelona won in London... I think it was in 1992... $:-\$

THE ELECTRIC GRATER!!!!

This is not the kind I have. Mine is cooler, because it is made from CHEAP PLASTIC.

It grates cheese! And slices cheese! And crumbs bread! And grinds meat and nuts! And it keeps me from shredding my knuckles on a regular grater! I love it dearly.

Baboyli, you speak of the mighty colander.

One would use this utensil to drain noodles, greens, and the like. A necessity in any kitchen.

Have we all forgotten the outstanding coffee machine? Where would we be without its earthshaking trickle?
Perhaps the coffee machine has integrated itself so deeply in every aspect of our lives (work, school, government, sex) that we all have forgotten its roots in the kitchen. A must have for any counter space:

I'd have to say my (somewhat) trusty microwave. I never use my stove at all anyways.

My microwave sucks, but at least it heats up my food. (well, just a little bit, food is always ice cold in the middle)

But, it's part of the family.

The microwave is cool. It's like, really futuristic, you go up and press all these cool buttons and then it cooks your food for you! And when you press the buttons they beep!

too bad my microwave has the old fashioned knob, and no digital timer. It's a newer microwave, but its a real cheap one which was given to me by my stepmother.

I'm almost afraid to stand in front of it while its being used.

I don't know about kitchen, but my favourite wood-working tool is the adze.

You could put an adze in a kitchen - Hell, you could put one ANYWHERE.

They're multi-purpose.
