Music isn't my forte, (Neither is religion, that's why I failed it) but anyway, this is the opening theme to Beyond Reality, so it's pretty important that everybody thinks it's okay. So, C+C, pretty please!

The ending part (The very quiet part) is a tiny bit off time but that's okay because I may be lengthening it slightly, depending on the finished cutscene.

Oh yeah, the opening sequence goes like this... Logo, tiny bit of a cutscene, a few credits. Then another song will continue for the duration of the rest of the cutscene.

very moody. thoug i think some of the synths could be a weezy bit louder.

Trapezoid

I love it. But like Fizz said, some of the synths need a boost. Also, I think the main Celesta instrument would sound better one or two octaves higher.

You mean like this?

See, I don't know ANYTHING about music, so I don't know what you're talking about.

But there is one part that needs a bit of fixing that I just realized.

Did that sentence make sense?

Also, I think I should introduce another, heavier, bassier instrument when the 'evil' bit kicks in... what do you think?

Hi Yufster,

It's very good. While listening to it, I was thinking of the context of your game, and the words that came to me were dreamy and mysterious, so it fits well. The opening is a good entrance into the song. You mentioned the ending needing work and I agree, however continuing to listen to it, I still found myself liking it. Overall, it's beautiful.

loominous

I really like it, most interesting gametheme I ve heard in a long while. Hardly any predictable parts, smooth transitions and interesting all the way through.

What I d alter if it were my creation would be:

(i) Make the contrasts a bit stronger in the arrangement. Alternate full sounding arrangementparts with thin sounding.

(ii) Although I m very fond of the celesta sound, using it all the way through might be less interesting than switching. To make the transition between the switches less abrupt you could use intrument with a similar sound and/or double the sounds. In this case I come to think of: glockenspiel, harp, xylophone or perhaps pizz violins.

Eagerly awaiting the following themes.

Very nice! It would be a great song not only for the beginning, but also as in-game music.

I like the first version better than the second, Yufster.
