jfk airport is in Jamaica NY which is in NYC

i would recommend getting in contact with Dave Gilbert about all affairs with NYC since he may know more about it/know people who know more about it

again i have to stress albany international airport, hehe

alynn, they don't have to worry about getting beer or anything because if they are old enough in the united states then it's fine with me. there will be no sloppy drunks because it isn't allowed and there will be no underaged drinking cause it isn't allowed [by me not just the united states]

and if you can't go a few days without getting shit faced then you have a problem

NOW, as for everything else, i will not be posting the address publicly so if you would like the address for setting up driving directions [mapquest] or seeing where exactly the place is [so you know what it isn't just a hop and a skip away from NYC] then PM me please and if you'd be so kind just tell me from where you'll be coming.

danke

AJA said he would go to Mittens if they were held in Nastola. His place is big... it can surely hold group of people.... but I'm not sure of his pearents... :P;D
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

As Eric says, if you're coming to Mittens via NYC contact me.  I can rent a jeep or somesuch and do pickups.  NYC airports are pretty far apart, so it'll help if everyone ends up at the same airport, but I guess that'll be hard to coordinate.  We'll figure it out as the time approaches.

And it's cool is people want to spend a few days in the city after Mittens is over.  I know I'll be here.

Hmm... Looks like this'll cost me about $500 for the airfare.  A lot cheaper than it'll be for Europeans, I'm sure, but still a pretty sizeable amount for me.  I guess the sooner everything is finalized, the better.

EDIT: Also, it seems like flying into JFK can indeed by significantly cheaper than flying into Albany International.

How far is Albany from NYC?  Looking at a map for the first time, it seemed pretty damn far.

MrColossal

really remixor? well damn... that sucks

only cause that means a 3 hour bus/train ride [not including cab to port authority/penn station] to get upstate

but things will be worked out i guess

quin: about 3 hours

Layabout

America is stupid with their drinking laws. 21 is outragious. No wonder there are so many people shooting each other over there.

n3tgraph

so that means I can't drink @ mittens???  >:(

man that sucks ...  :-\

If everyone going via london would search for flights to albany, maybe we could locate the cheapest

bright idea?

Well, the only reason I bring it up is because I interpreted Dave as saying he could possibly bring people from NYC to the Mittens site if we fly into the same airport.  If I understood him wrong, never mind.   Don't want to impose or anything obviously.

Is there an underground (metro, whatever you call the underground trains, I forget) stop at the PABT?

No, you heard right.  I can definitely bring people from NYC to Mittens.  Within reason, of course.

Ha. No. :-D

I'll see how big a car we'll need as the time approaches.

Drive down to Maryland and pick me up.  Unless I do get a call back from this one great place we could host it.

- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.

I'm not going, nor do I live in the US, so my knowledge on this may be scratchy, but I get a quite heavy impression that the question of location had been settled to Upstate NY.
