Hey again!
It's 11th of November, and there yet is yet no pick of the month. I'd be intersted to know which game released this month will desrve it, even if it aint mine.

Ishmael

Is it mine?

...

Of cource not...

I'm sure CJ or who'sever turn it is will make the pick before december ;D It could be that it's so hard to pick from all those exellent new games (exludes mine, naturally)
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

<Calin> Ishmael looks awesome all the time

Snake

Nah, it'll be Leitor's Edge, eventhough it'll be 300 years before it's release...

Meowster

Actually, I'm schizophrenic, and I would have to say you've gone a bit off in your calculations there. Possibly, you forgot to carry the one.

remixor

Dudes, it'll totally be my game.

Aren't those heated expectations strange?
If I'm not mistaken, the "pick of the month game" doesn't limit itself to games released this month. For example, the first "pomg" was Aarons Epic Journey, and it was like one year after the game was released.

remixor

Exactly, which is why my game will certainly win.  It wasn't released this month, that's for sure.

It's only meant to brin attention to games that may have been unnoticed, like Aarons, unless the choice is lazy or just a really really good game.  Either way, the fact that Vel is rather unsubtly hoping it'll be Who Wants To Live Forever may not have too much grounding

Actually I don't care about the pick of the month (as my game won't be there anyways ;D ), I just want to ask when Cj would change the vote topic.

Timosity

As long aas it is not live forever, who gives a flying fuck throgh a rolling doughnut, it is about games we would probably not download unless it wasn't for this function.

let's see something original, and something we least suspect, that's what I love about the selections.

You mean "The Adventures of Princess Marian", then ?  ;) ;)

Actually that thing about unnoticed games only worked when I did the picks. And I don't do it anymore.
Now CJ does it.
And he sucks.

Goldmund

Yeah Andail, picking 5 days a stranger, which is already so famous that I didn't download it, is hardly a revolutionary act.

Pumaman

Hehe yes, I don't really have the time to maintain the pick of the month properly, so I tend to just make it a recent game that has had a good response in the forums.

I'd love to hand the responsibility over to someone upstanding such as Andail, if he didn't mind :)

Andail

Eeexcellent.

Cj, please PM the details, and I'll start raising the literary level of the pick-of-the-month-reviews right away, as well as stimulating the art-house genre and other obscure underdog movements.

You others can start sending me bribes already.

Spyros

The pick of this month should be Robert Redford DELUXE!!!!
(if it's not Book of Spells COMPLETE ;) )

Harvester

Aaaaaaah, Spyros suggested some very nice games (btw. when is Book of Spells going to be released?), but I have something better:
ISN: Kill!
None shall pass!

Paranoid Factor

actually, my vote would go for RR
