The real reason is because Vel has become the target of everyone's hate recently, mostly brought upon himself but partly just because people like having someone to bait into silly arguments in #ags.  Not even ops are above it, it would appear.
I don't think he's done anything bad enough for a permaban, but his 'Have you played my game?' questioning has annoyed everyone, hopefully this will be enough to get him to stop.

First of all, Vel, if you want there to still be fairly influential members out there who aren't thoroughly annoyed with you, like me, stop pimping you and your game for just some weeks and see what happens.

Secondly, Mourir isn't a very unnoticed and underdog kinda game, I know, but it's only gonna last until december anyway, and anyway, I decide so SHUT up.

And moreover, as Scotch said (because he's a wise good ol' mitteneer) everybody loves to have someone they can throw a jab at without anybody caring, but please everybody, stop inflaming the Vel-related conflicts now.
Given, of course, that Vel starts behaving.
