Mittens 2004 anything concrete yet?

No way. I plan on bringing a demo of a game to show off at the place. I'll bring my laptop, and we can start a sign up for people with suggested and definite ideas for spoken tutorials and if anyone wants to claim them and begin work on it now, in time for mittens.

When the final preparations are taken care off, where will the data relative to this event be posted? The forums?

And how long will mittens 04 last? A day? A weekend? A week? Also related, I hope some of you guys who actually live there know of interesting (read good and cheap) places to stay, since I guess the trip will be 'hell' for Europeans (like myself)...

mittens will last 3 hours and 13 minutes, the extra 13 minutes are for last minute packing [which i expect to be done in the final 2 hours of mittens, the first hour would be for unpacking]

but a definite date will be picked and i guess i'll tell mods and he'll put it on the mittens site

Yes... I have a HUGE surplus of money right now... It's such a pain to have to SWIM my way to the front door through all the bills everytime I want to leave my home... A five star hotel will come in handy...

I plan on going (like it or not) and agree that anytime after February but before December is alright with me.  Ideally, it'd be sometime in July (which has been determined).  It'll be difficult to get any advanced-RSVP's until there's a definite date set.

Also, wanted to add that any potential attenders whose parents seem somewhat dubious might want to check out the official site: http://www.mittens.cjb.net/. You could even send aforementioned parents there since the site is rather well-done and does a decent job of answering basic questions.  If anyone would like a letter or two written to their parents, you could just post a request and I'm sure that several over-21 members would be happy to oblige (except DG, he'd use the Fuck-word too often).
