okay, i'm using Opera to vote now but... i can't find anything in the rules that says you can't vote for your own games, have i missed it, or did you forget to include it?

I got that message too. Had to right-click the link, then Open in New Window. Then it worked

Weirdly I can't vote. It says in the AGS awards website that I must be logged in but I AM logged in here. In one window there's me logged in to the AGS forums and on the other window the awards page says I'm not

The list of games is amazing. Hard to realise how many great games have apperades this year. But I cannot vote either, same problem here :'(

Yeah, I got it to work (finally) by opening the voting booth thing (the place where it says you have to be logged in etc etc) in a new window. Just hold shift and left-click the 'VOTE HERE' link. Worked for me at least.

I should have automatically opened it in a new window -- The porblem is rectified now.

Also, like I said, make sure you enter both the name of the game and the character you're voting for in the character awards.

It's difficult when some people nominate a game for non-player character but don't specify a character.

And yes, you are allowed to vote for your own games -- it'd be stupid not to.

There's nothing I can do about it cause CJ coded the database -- I'll see what he can do.

Besides, an experienced netuser like yourself should know you use TAB to change fields -- not enter.
