Well...first off let me all warn you that SCI Studio is what I am using to create my 1st actual game ever! Sorry to disappoint the AGS fans, but SCI Studio suits me fine.

"Day of the Tentacle" was made by a program which later became the Beta function for SCI Studio! SCI Studio was then spawned a couple of years later.

If you all have played all the Sierra games, then you might as well remember..."Torin's Passage"!

"Torin's Passage" told the story of a young man named(well, who would have thought), Torin! Torin & his pet(lord, what is that thing), Boogle...are set off to search for Torin's missing parents who were "mysteriously" taken away by a magic dust bowl that roamed through Torin's homeland. Along the way, Torin finds out that there is a "gateway" to another world that is only held by "Magic Shards"! In all wonder...Torin goes to different worlds & learns many different things...but soon finds out who kidnapped his parents...which turns out to be his NANNY!! Torin also learns that he is the next King of his homeland & then soon meets with the man who murdered his "Royal" Parents. Torin struggles to free his nanny, but ends up saving her when his Nanny defeats the evil wizard & soon...they return home with everyone ok...including Boogle & his parents. The story ends, when Torin, Boogle, Torin's Nanny, & Torin's parents go inside to eat & talk about Torin's amazing adventure.

Now...I have no freaking clue on what happens after that, but that is where...I come in!!!! I am gonna create the sequel to Torin's Passage!!

If anyone has any thoughts on this big announcement, then please respond. Now...as for a release date to this game...well, you might wanna wait about 5-8 months, before asking! Then, we will talk release dates!

You're accepting storyline ideas? What!? That is the ONE THING you have to do yourself.

Otherwise, you're not making the game, you're doing the code or the graphics or whatever. The story is the core of the game and should be your own. Otherwise, you're just helping out with someone else's game.

And I don't need to point out that you are maybe the 1000th or so person to ask for help making your game for you.
Status: Trying to come up with some ideas...

Goldmund

Yes, Terran, but he's the first one asking for help in developing a game with a different engine.

Here's me disapointed and raging over this SCI-scum betrayal:

I always thought that Day of the Tentacle was made by a team of skilled people, but I must be wrong - it was made by a program.

Besides, I highly doubt that the SCUMM engine served as the basis of SCI Studio. But then again - what do I know?

Yeah, what were you trying to say with that sentence? SCUMM and SCI are different engines... If your sentence is correct, wouldn't SCI Studio be called SCUMM Studio, and create/edit SCUMM games? Study some adventure game history... Oh yeah, and if you want to announce that you're making an adventure with SCI Studio, wouldn't SCI board be better place?

Actually, Day of the Tentacle is a SCUMM game. It has absolutely nothing to do with SCI or SCI Studio.  :P

You know, this guy should really be posting this on SCI Studio boards.

And we all learned something new today: Day of the Tentacle was made by Sierra, not LucasArts, as we've all been led to believe over the last ten years! It's all a lie! We're all just pawns in a deadly game of chess between adventure gaming superpowers!

Ahhhhhh!!!111!!!

:) ;) :D ;D :o :P ::) :-* 8) 8) 8)

I don't think the engine is the crucial point of this little enterprise...

How many endings do you have planned?
