This is my first feature length game: Petri A. Ringwald and the Maxim Gun

It takes place in early 1900's late 1800's London and throughout Great Brittain and Germany. The world is preparing for the war to end all wars. The maxim gun is a great invention that may give Brittian the edge when war starts. Hiram Maxim has been taken along with his gun prototype from a London safe house. You play as Petri, a young detective with orders to find and return Hiram and his gun. You will adventure through many Pixelicious rooms after the evil Alfred Brugenmier and his Irish accomplice, Barley McDuff. The images above current. The tunnel is not complete, same with the GUI.

This game will feature:
-memorable characters
-difficult and intermediate puzzles
-custom guis
-custom music
-custom cursors
-unique fonts
-historical facts
-a guy named Petri

Progress is slow due to school, but expect this game to be finished.

WOW!!!
Your game looks sweet. The graphics remind me of the backgrounds in the TMNT arcade game. It looks as if you have put a lot of work into this so far. Wish you luck on finishing this project I know how it can be trying to balance school, work, friends and ags. Look forward to playing it ;D

I just realized how unoriginal my previous response was ...sooo :

I usually hate Brown , but it reminds me of "old timey" stuff ...those
aged photographs / papers , Sherlock Holmes ( me and my father love
SH mysteries ) and stuff....very "can't hate it" sorta mood even though it's
Brown...like stepping into the past.
*heart*

Klaatu Verata Niktu?

The game looks very promising and interesting. The plot seems to be quite original and the art is personal.

When might we be expecting to see this piece finished?

Piraatlife4me,

may I assume TMNT stands for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the grates action figures ever? For some reason I remember their worst enemy Crang (or Krang or something) was a some sort of a slime blob. I think he lived under surface in a some kind of a moving hi-tech laboratory. And then there was the Shredder... Oh, the good times..
Yes, well, I really didn't have anything to say about that anyway...

Heh heh.... I remember editing that main character of yours. I'm glad that you used the cape.

The backgrounds are quite lovely and the story as well. I love the late 1800's - early 1900's era, and in fact, my game takes place in that time period as well (don't worry, it has a different plot). I remember reading Sherlock Holmes types of novels, and since I loved them, I'm sure I'll love your game as well.

I'll be waiting to play this game. Keep up the good work.

Thanxs for all your wonderfull replys.

I am uncertain of this at the moment

I remember seeing those uncolored versions in the CL, but they looks good.

I know what I'm about to say may be really dispiriting, but there is a certain thing you call a perspective point. Perhaps do some research and apply them to your BGs.

Anyhoo, this game looks real promising, and am looking forward to playing it when done...

Good Luck, and all the best to you, Mr. LostTraveler.
