You could do a circular gradient on the words Sunrise Manor, with a yellow in the bottom centre that fades red towards the egde (sunrise effect).

I added depth, but I didn't finish the last few letters.
The idea was the shading would be on the LEFT and TOP on the letters to the left of the sun, on TOP of the letters above the sun, and to the RIGHT and TOP of the letters to the right of the sun.

I like Largo's latest version, but I agree with Mr. Flibble that the sun-like radient might look good. But the menu buttons doesn't look as good as the title, because you have changed the shape (you know, they are higher in the middle...) LostTraveler's isn't bad... but it has nothing to with Sunrise Manor.

Yeah, the static kind of hurts my eyes, LostTraveler. But I bet that intro would make people who've seen The Ring scared.

Hmm... I like the font in LostTraveler's though.
Maybe, you could take Zootyfruit's pic (BTW, nice pic!) and replace the Sunrise Manor text in that one with the one from LT's, but with a sunrise effect.

The font is Oglive.

I really like the simplicity of zootys. I recomend taking an aproach like that rather then GOREFEST with blood everywhere.

Since I don't feel like drawing it at the moment, what I'm picturing fr a title screen is the manor, more or less in black (with some highlights, maybe... and possibly a window that we can see into where there's a silhouette of some zombie creature), with the sun coming over the horizon in the backround.

Zootyfruit's looks nice, though.

The static, while an interesting idea, doesn't really seem to fit with what you're planning to do with the game at all...
