Please critique my character:

Any comments?

UP

Fine in every other way In my opinion, except her walk is a little bit too stiff... She should ease up a little bit :P The hands aren't loose enough... Her elbows shouldn't get that high and that's quite fast swinging anyways (in both feet and hands), so unless she's pissed off, make her loosen up a bit.

Angelos

The technique is very good.

I like the way you use shading to suggest shape.

Standing View.
She looks stressed. I would rather see a more relaxed pose. A non-symetrical pose.
For example.
"Lady, could you please move your weight to your left leg ? And could you let your hair
fall a bit in front of your face ? And dont look at mee straight in the eyes. Bend your head
a bit. Act like a lady, try to be charming !"

Walking View.
She walks like an Army Captain.
As if you used a man;s template to animate a female sprite.

It would help if you could tell us  something about her. If she is the evil captain or a very strict administrotor of... whatever, then she is OK.

But is she is the love intrest of EGO then... sorry but I'll pass on her She is just not  feminene.

Angelos.

Babar

Nice sprite...gives off a lot of character. However, you should add another colour of shading to the boots and hair, as at the moment they are just plain black. Also, unless it goes against her personality, you should add some hair falling on her face. Aside from that, it seems the widest part of her body is just below the thighs. Maybe you could make her skinnier there, and widen up her hips a bit.
About the animation, I think you made it go to fast. I like the shading you have done on her, but one thing that seems odd is that the part of the shirt that falls over her legs does not seem to move at all.

some chest and head bobbing would help the movement I think, otherwise it looks fine.

I honestly think the animation (as a whole) is fine the way it is. I see what people mean about looking a little pissed off, but to me, it looks like that because of her face. Her eyebrows make her look like she's frowning at you. Ease them up a little bit so they don't come right down the bridge of her nose.

The other thing is her mouth. Although there's nothing WRONG with it, it just looks emotionless. Try curling the last couple of pixels up so she's smiling, and I think the whole thing will look great!
Peter: "Being faggy isn't bad!"
AGA: "Shush, FAG!"

Maybe the 'stiff' walking belongs to her character for ex. she's a noble, and the nobility kinda walk like they have a broomstick up their butt, if you know what I mean. It's really good.

Hehe, that's a funny way of saying it.  ;D

But I agree. This character has a very strong facial expression, and the way she walks gives a lot of information about her personality. Very good job! (Especially if you intended to make her look noble, strict, tight, and pissed off. hehe  ;))
