I've started looking for old adventure games at car boot sales. This weekend I got Larry 2 (nothing missing as far as I can tell, it even has the "Letter from the President" where Ken Williams tries to pimp Adlib sound cards

) for about $2.5 and the X-Files Game, which I've always wanted, for about $6 (a bit on the pricy side, but the box is REALLY nice, and with 7 cd-roms it's not something you could download).

My mom threw out all of my old boxes AND the diskettes. Halves of dozens of classic adventures, gone just like that.

I bought a mint condition Colonel's Bequest, complete with Notepad, Pencil, Copy Protection (And the red screen "Magnifying Glass" to read it), and both booklets for one cool, sweet dollar.

Awesome game.

Yeah, what I meant was, I was already keeping all my boxes with the disks and everything in them in mint condition, and then they decided we didn't need them anymore.
