Sounds amazing, rich! Odd that I didn't notice this thread before, as I quite like the Sims, and wanted sims 2 very bad when it was first announced. I had no idea it was out already, I had forgotten about it . These new improvements sounds amazing. Too bad there's no mention of an option for pets, as I thought Sims unleashed was a bit lacking in the addition of pets. Maybe us people who consider pets members of the family aren't really a majority .

Looking forward to see more screenshots and info from you .
I'll definetly create an AGS house once I get it .
Btw, is the family members limit still 8? Or can you have more? I also heard a family can own two houses/lots.

edit: Also wanted to note, isn't 40 days kinda fast for the sims to die? adulthood would be expected to be the longest period. Is there a way to change it? I know there's a cheat to stop aging completely, but that defeats the purpose.

Well, you've convinced me, it is time for the bi-annual call to the local "provider" for some games and movies....

I guess i should take these sims2, then i want to take Oggy and the cockroaches, Maybe the Simpsons (1-3 episodes maybe, these DVDs are expensive, 4$ a piece),
anyone heard of a series called kung fu?
Oh yeah, The Flight simulator, i always wanted to play those...
etc. etc.

Next one will be the kotor 2 and gta3:san andreas.

Oh, and just because their adulthood lasts 40 days doesn't mean their life does. If a Sim starts off as adult, there's that 40 day period (or is it 30?), then (s)he becomes an elder. How long they live after that is up to how healthy they are, what kind of a life they've led, etc. They can die of natural causes.

I made a one-minute movie at medium resolution (320x240) with sound, and it took up over 7 MB. I'm going to try again, this time wthout sound, and see how big it is.

Wow, it looks really cool. I want to get it but I fear that it will eat up into too much of my time. I really need to focus on uni and assignment and stuff first.

Then I don't recommend it. It takes the hours away from you so fast. You will be sucked in. Just buy it when you are done your assignment or w/e. Besides, then the price will have lowered.

QuantumRich: GTA:SA is not GTA5, if we were to number un numbered sequels (london, vice city and san andreas) it would be 6.. however Rockstar have said that VC and SA are not proper sequels and GTA4 will most likely be on a next gen system.

Lucky for me the game runs pretty good, unless i go into story mode to view snap shots, and then BAM!! Crash.

People are waiting for patches to fix all the problems and bugs that this game contains.Ã,  But still, it is alot of fun.

My copy runs fine.  The only time I have a problem is if I shrink the game to the desktop and then maximize it again.  Then it restarts my computer.  Other than that the game runs great.

Try updating your graphics drivers if you have any probs. It kept freezing on me before I upgraded.

I've been running it under 1024x768 without any problems even with a crappy card like mine. Sapphire ATi Radeon 9600 atlantis 128mb
