what are you trying to cut? I never got the message vandilisiam will get you nowhere so you are not using the saw on the correct thing,  you should be looking for a tree with a forked branch to use your saw on

use the orichalcum on the boat, then make a bomb with the bandanna and the  bottle of vodka, use match on bomb and blow up the ship

Okay I figured it out for you I had a saved game close to that so I checked my inventory to see if I had coal and I didn't,Ã,  so I looked at spell book and SIRAINUOVRAK will turn your book of matches into coalÃ,

I am assuming you are looking for the forked branch that you need to use the saw on, I will try and guide you to where the forked branch is. Find your way to the crossroads, exit to the North, this is where you talked to a man and got a flower, exit to the North from there and you should be in the screen where there is a forked branch on a tree, try looking at all the branches and you should get a message that says something like "thats a strange looking branch or something similar, use your saw on it. This is a really complicated chapter of the game, ther is so much to do in it,  I think you would be better off with the walkthrough, do you want me to send it to you?

After you blew up the ship and you went west twice, there was a tree, you had to look at tree. There was an inscription on the tree with instructions regarding the signs, so that you could work out exactly what signs to tap. If you can't work it out let me know if you want me to tell you exactly which numbers

Well - I am quite early on in this interesting game.  Am near the end of chapter 3 and trying to set the bomb.  However, when I go to "use" the alarm clock on the bomb, NOTHING happens!  What is my problem likely to be here?   Hope someone can help me out   Thanks in advance.

Only thing I can think of is - not only do you have to "use" the alarm clock but you have to set it as well

The WT says to use the clock on the bomb and THEN set the alarm after doing that.  So I keep trying to use the clock on the bomb and NO LUCK!  Is there possibly a glitch here?  Thx for any help you can offer me

Yes, I did get the bomb on the door and was finally able to "use" the clock on it.  Now I can't seem to set the alarm clock.   Looked at bomb and looked at my watch which told me the time.  What now??  Hope someone can give me a nudge in the right direction here.  Thx in advance.
