Just curious but how many points do you have at this stage

You say you gave the sardines and got the dip net.  Did you talk to Krup, got the coals Have you managed to get back to the river and use the dip net There I had 354 points I am following the walkthru and only after I got 386 points does it say that NOW you have enough spells to go to Obe

Not sure how many points GeeGee had but I know I must have had enough because I think I got the message saying I had enough spells to go to Obe. But for some reason the spell just wouldn't work. Now when Alkis looked at my saved game he couldn't find anything wrong and he was able to cast the spell in my saved game for me and sent me that saved game. So I don't know what was going on there. I have sent GeeGee the saved game because it looked like it was the same problem. Another strange thing that cropped up for me, if you have been reading the forum you will see I tried helping somebody else where you cast the spell on Medusa, I loaded a saved game just before that point and when I tried casting the spell on her it said "this spell only works on humans" yet it worked for me when I was playing the game. Never seen such a hot topic for a game before. Hope you voted for it, Aklis certainly deserves the credit.

I sure did vote for Aklis. This is a great game.  I like it when it is a full length game with lots of things to do.  I also like the idea of knowing how many points you have and how much more you need to complete the game.

WT says to cast spell RETRAF on it - but Natalia keeps saying "think I'm supposed to use it on myself".

Hi all - thanks for all your help to me during the game.  I have 750 points now.  However - I have another problem!!

  When I cast the spell on Medusa it says "this spell only works on humans".  What can I do to avoid this situation?  Is there another spell that should be used?  Is there a problem per the WT?

Anyhow, sure hope someone can help me out here.  So close the end of the game and I'm anxious to see the ending as it seems it's quite interesting per other people who have finished the game.  Thanks so much

I finished the game and didn't hit that problem but when I was helping somebody else out with something else, I loaded a game I had saved just before casting spell on Medusa tried casting the spell and I got the same message as you are getting, "this spell only works on humans"  I didn't get that when I was playing it the first time. Maybe you could ask Aklis on Gameboomers, I would be curious to find out the answer to this myself.

Didn't you get an answer to this question in the other thread you started. Just in case you are still stuck this is what you need to do

look at the document in the computer, look at the first letter of each sentence and you will get a message

and used on obe marble. but dosn't matter where i try it it says "it does not seem to work from this location". i have checked with the walkthrough and i think i'm in the right place. any ideas

Hi. This question has probably already been answered but I'm still stuck. I can't find the prizm in the mansion. I can't find it in the room that the walkthrough says it is in. I have been stuck for days on this puzzle. So could anyone please help me and tell me where it is? Thank you

There is an exit in the first room you enter in the mansion (the one that has the book) that you missed. Search on the left of the front door for an 'Exit' sign.

You probably haven't found this room because the prism is in clear view, think it was sitting on a table  8)

I eventually found it. I kept on going into the wrong room. : Thank you so much Joyce. Now hopefully I can get on with this game without being being stuck on one puzzle for days.

Maybe it's just me but I'm stuck again. I don't know how to make the screwdriver. I have the bottle of vodka and the can of orange juice. I try using them on the bottles in the kitchen but they don't work. And every time I try to make the screwdriver she says that the bottle is empty.

Please help.
