Made this MIDI, today, now my ears are bleeding, so I'm going to take a break for a while. In the meantime, any kind of feedback is highly appriciated, so please, reply.

Darcness

Very nice indeed!
My only critique is that some of the note slides just don't sound right, making the song sound slightly off-key.
Other than that, great job.

Thanks, I'll work on it some more tommorow.

Any more comments?

I think it's good, I only wish there was a tad more "air" in it, eg. the solo instrument doesn't shut up for a micro second once it's begun (or at least that's how it feels). Other than that: Solid & Cool.

Damien

Thanks for the reply, I'll try to make a new version soon.

I like it. It reminds me of a song in Final Fantasy 7.. cant remember which one. Good job!
By the time you read this you've already read it.

Damien

Thanks.

2nd version, changed the guitar solo & ending:

I love the thing as a whole te only thing I find is at 0:57 that build seems to lag a bit mildly off tempo it seems.

I love the guitar solo tho it sounds great

Damien

Thanks for the reply.

The 'lag' was intentional, I thought that was pretty obvious. I guess after hearing it too many times (in the proces of making it), I didn't find it awkward. The problem is, I don't want to remove the 'lag', but have no idea on how to make it sound better.
Any comments?

I kinda figured it was on purpose since it sayed on tempo throught out the rest of the song

the only thing i can think of that might sound cool it have an instument slowly slide down abd back up the whole time the build goes sort of a weird transition but its just an idea

This song reminds me of House of the Rising Sun by The Animals. Good job by the way!

Damien

Thanks.

Cpage, I'm going to try out your suggestion, then post it here later on.
