Oh my God... I think it IS Warriors of the Wind! I have to look for a trailer, but so far the images line up! Just to make sure - the scenario I describe rings no bells for any OTHER films? I seem to remember a dramatic scene with one such "slug", I think it was dying, or maybe it was helping someone HUMAN who was dying, or something...

Viktor: I've yet to meet anyone who hasn't seen The Muppet Show, or at least heard of it. I watched it religiously when I was a kid and I cried when it was cancelled.

Just like to mention that "The Muppet's Christmas Carol" is probably the best Xmas Carol adaptation I've ever seen. Superb stuff.

Couldn't agree more. I'm a hard fan of the Gummi Bears. It's really sad they where kinda banned from Disney because some people claimed they promoted alcoholism or drugs.
