ok, i'll fool with it a bit tommorow.  i don't want it to get too claustrophobic though.

Neutron

i added some brush in the background.  i think it looks better now, but i don't want to get too carried away.

You must be very experienced no? What about the backgrounds?

Don't get angry with me, but I think that the gnomish char in the sketch is far, far better then his 3D counterpart! You should really do a 2D game, it would be cooler.
And to be more precise, you're so good at drawing that I don't see why you choose the 3D style.
Welcome back to the age of the great guilds.

I agree!!
(the 3d character is great ,too,..but the 2d one is just better)
Sorry...

I'm trying to be economical as far as the time i spend putting this together.  Since it is my first attempt at a game it will no doubt be buggy, and have a variety of other problems.  Making animation loops goes alot faster, because once you set up the character with a walk cycle, it takes about 2 minutes or less to make all 8 views of animation.  By the same token, I could spend more time on the 3D character, and actually get him to look quite like the picture, but I don't want to get too bogged down in any one thing, or this might end up on the shelf.
