Hmm, Chains of Darkness is the best of the names on that first list, but still a bit boring. I like Prodigy too.
I'd like to follow Snarky in dissecting some game names, commercial ones though.

Full Throttle
This name gives you a good impression about the game's theme, bikes and all, but the added twist to it that simply makes the difference is that the characters name is actually "Ben Throttle".

This is what I wanted to talk about, as integrating some character name or some detail from the story into the name can really work.
Try Not to Breathe - coming sooner or later!

We may have years, we may have hours, but sooner or later, we push up flowers. - Membrillo, Grim Fandango coroner

I've decided on "Prodigal" for my name. Short and descriptive of the plot, I think it'll stick in your head. Thanks all!

(And yes, "Prey" is back in developement from 3D Realms and Human Head. Uses a heavily modified Doom3 engine. Expose was in the most recent US PC Gamer magazine. Looks VERY cool...)

Paper Carnival

Personally, I think that putting <something> of <something> is the easiest and most unoriginal way to come up with a title. Using the word "darkness" is also unoriginal. I'd go with The Cycle Remaining too
