Sorry about this when I said 'farside' I was refering to the House as the reference point ie. the farside from the house or the same side of the river as the cave. Everything's relative, anyway this should trigger the cutscene. If this is not working then there must be a bug and you will have to play through from start. Again apologies for any confusion caused.

{hide} The goat jumped over the river towards me and crashed into the goat figure on the wall, causing it to open.  Then the poor goat floated away in the river.  I don't know how I got the goat to jump across.  Maybe I touched the rocks>>>??  It just happened and I dont know how.  Anyway I am now stuck in the mountain because there is a puzzle to figure out and I am not good at those.  Plus What are all those yellow squares in the inventory? Another puzzle???

To the left of the puzzle room is a large statue, use the LOOK on the purple part of the screen. When the screen scrolls up there is the solution to the puzzle along the top of the statues head.You might need to do this a few times before you can write down the answer. Once you have the answer its quite easy to mess around with the puzzle stones to complete the puzzle.

Thank you so much.  Went back to another save to see how I got the goat to jump over the river, and I did nothing.  I went over to the goat etch side and the goat was over to the other side and the Clock went on and I said Emily and she just jumped over on her own.  So I didn't have to do anything to get her to come over.  Joyce, are you reading this??

Ok Tough game here...Figured out the puzzle, thank you Wretched.......Now does this tunnel go any further?  I am at the post holding up the rocks.  Found strength card and egg and the card in hole that goes click and clunk....Am I turning something on or off?  What now???

Okay, i am a little further but i am stuck!!Please help:

I have opened up the stairway in the cave (the one that goes up around the clown thing) and seen the dispenser that looks like my egg but it also says there is a key hole and i don't have a key. I can't leave the cave because it says the egg pulls me back, am i missing something? I have a bowl of water, the long twig, blue egg, and a tarot card of strength...Am i supposed to do something at the end of the cave (it is still caved in)?

Thanks for all your help guys, looks like I may have a bug, I don't know, all I know is the goat was following me, it stopped at the mountain and has been stuck there. I think I got a message saying Emily wouldn't cross or something like that. Or is it because did the other stuff first, is there a special order you have to do things. I went up mountain and left Emily stuck at the left side of the river and got rid of vulture, got branch etc [/spoiler]

Cross the plank and leave Emily on the other side(the side she starts on). Then walk along the path up the screen and round to the left so you enter the cave entrance screen on the right handside of the river. If this fails to trigger cutscene then you do have a bug.

yes I did all that, Emily has been on the left side of screen, I crossed the river, went up and to the left where the cave entrance is but I got no cut scene so I guess I have a bug, so I guess I will have to start over

Have you got the plank from cave, if so you can get back to the farm yard and use that long stick to get the hat. Sunshades will look after themselves.

The yellow squares screen is not important, it's just a sort of screen to show you which tarot cards you have collected so far, there are 22 in total.

  Okay I have 7 of 8 pieces using the snail and I have moved all the leaves around, been through it about a dozen times and still cannot find that last piece...any clues??  Thanks !!

ok plank has been down to let me back across stream.  What stick are you referring to>>>??  The one I got from the crevice in the stone???  The same one that I used to scare vulture away???  Because I went back to house, took stick and tried to get hat down....Doesn't work for me....What am I doing wrong???  Thank you

Have you not got the Vulture to break the branch(tree) yet ? I get confused who has done what. You need to throw porridge at left end of branch then go to mountain top,scare Vulture, come back to branch(tree) watch cutscene, get pole then, get hat.

Really this is more fun than writing the game, infact I'm trying to have a break from programming, It's very intresting to see which bits catch people out.

Principles of leverage apply here, the branch will break only if the vulture lands on the end of it, not the middle, so target the porridge throw at the extreme left end of the branch.
