My Character won't move

I recently downloaded AGS, and when i test my game or Run it from the compiled folder, it won't move when i click in walk mode. He just stands there. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

Me too, I can't move the mouse and my character! I try to test it again, and it still didn't work! HELP.....I read the Tutorials-Getting started with AGS see did it said anything about it, but I try and try! Still don't work! :'( Please help me!!!

are you definitly sure that your characters starting x and y coordinates are on walkable areas, and that your walkable areas are at least 5 pixels wide?
- Oh great, I'm stuck in colonial times, tentacles are taking over the world, and now the toilets backing up.
- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.

omg! I'm so stupid! Truth is, i've used ags before, but a long time ago. How could i have forgotten something like that?!

Have you tried playing the Demo Game? Can you move the mouse in that, or in any other ags game?

If you can, then you made a mistake somehow that is screwing up your cursor movements.... not sure what you could have done, but lets get this question answered first.

I try other demo games, and it worked. But I test my the mouse won't move....

Sorry, I said it wrong, the demo games don't work too.... Is it because of mine computer???

I try 2 games from the {Completed Game Announcements} But they don't work too... ???

I would suggest updating your mouse drivers, or if you can, plug in a new mouse and see what happens.
