The hardest thing that in the end wasn't so hard and made you wonder about it...

Well, I'm taking my GCSE's at the moment, and thankfully, they're nearly over.

But they have not been as bad as made out.  And with only two left, The Darksiders can get back in swing.

But, I pose the question.

What have you been built up and built up to do as if it was some really hard thing, only to find it was easier than Red Faction 2....

My interview for JET. I spent months preparing for it and came out feeling so great, I thought I must be crazy. Also, highschool exams. They were piece of piss ^_^

Every time I go onstage, or am in an audition. I spent the previous 24 hours thinking it will be the worst thing in the world if I don't do it perfect... and then it's just over.

Don't even consider something so foolish! Very dangerous. It must always be the hardest thing in the world. That is the only way you can excell.
I used to think the same thing. That is why my marks degraded so badly. My 1st year in O levels I completed 5 subjects, getting 4 A's and an A*. Next year I did 1 O level (got an A), 1 AS (Got an A) and 1 A level (Got a C). The year after that, I did 1 A level (A) and 2 O levels (both A).
This year I am doing 3 A level subjects and not even expecting an A. Perhaps not even a B if I am unlucky.
I'm really thankful that my Computer teacher was an extreme slave driver. She got me my best marks, because she always set me up for the impossible. The actual exams were nothing compared to what she did. However, for my last exams (which just finished), there was no computer (I already did upto A level for it), and my teachers here are crap, and I took it easy. Doubtful that the results will be good.

Hmm, well.  I'm not trying to sound complacent, but what I meant was, before the Exam, I'm always sweating really badly that its gonna be really hard, and then in the end, it turns out to be not as bad as I expected.

And my computer teacher is a slave driver too.

Sam.

i know what cluey means, we were built up for 8 moths, that the AS levels are the most important thing well ever do and the hardest exams we'll ever take, sure they were hard, but they weren't as bad as they made out.

Cluey, you wait till next year, GCSEs will seems like a proverbial piece of piss.
Bye bye thankyou I love you.

Well, i find each time my band play it seems easier. I mean, i spend the week before looking forward to the gig, the whole band work really hard on the set making sure everything is as tight as possible. But when you get on stage, it just seems to flow, flawlessly.

I find that playing live is infact easier than simply jamming at my place.

Heh, i've probally just jinx'd the gig tonight.

I think most times all these things are really difficult...so we get prepared for teh worse, do our best in preparation and then ..it's all easy because we worked for it...

Haha, well you see, my band is wierd.

If we have a bad practice before the gig, we work hard on the night to make it good

If we have a good practice, we end up cocking up cos we get cocky and feel that it will just flow, instead of making it flow.

Another thing, going up on stage in front of a load of strangers (balanced by your mates at the front) isnt as hard as it seems, but its not a walk in the park.

Hmm... my mathematics exam. Although I must wait until the results get back :/

Also one of my job interviews, it turned out to be more a friendly chat about how fun Mario Kart is when you're drunk.
When I was a little kid we had a sand box. It was a quicksand box. I was an only child... eventually.
