i recently downloaded the AGS Game Engine for Linux so i can play my fav AGS games on my Linux box.. i've figured out how to play games on it ..i just got one problem.. i cant have more than 1 game downloaded at a time..like right now i have Ben Jordan 4 working..but i'd have to delete the game files from BJ4 in the ags directory then download a new game and install it to the ags directory.. im not sure how i can get multiple games to Run or if i even can..anyone can help it'd be real appreciated

Well... Can't you just save the games in a different folder and then just swap them when you want to play a different game?

i guess i could do that..but that sounds time tearing ..heh.. i might try this way for the time being..but if theres a simpler way i'd like to know..anyone?

i did the different folders thing,..not as tedious as i thought..thanks for the suggestion

Well, what you have to do, since no one apparently port the games to linux, you have to do all that process for each game. Actually that now I have time to do it, I could probably put the Ben Jordan games for Linux...

However, it would be nice if the AGS Games page had options to add linux and mac distributions. *looks at Pumaman*  ;)

I was going to suggest to just use Windows... But that wouldn't have been helpful.

I put the AGS binaries in /usr/local/bin so if I want to test a game, I "cd" to its directory
  $ cd /home/strazer/ags/games/thegame
and do
  $ ags TheGame.exe

If I like it enough, I put a link in the Applications menu:
  ags /home/strazer/ags/games/thegame/TheGame.exe

thanks strazer that idea worked mighty fine.. i can run ags from anywhere now.. thanks

One problem i get with certain games is the size of the game (resolution) when a game is made in 320x200 the window the game comes on is WAYYYYYYYY to small.. but when i change the res on the game it lags moves slow n stuff.. is there a way i can enlarge the box the game comes on without messing with the resolution? any help would be appreciated

If the game is recent enough, you can go in Advanced in the game's WinSetup and increase the used RAM to 20Mbs. It might help speed the game up.
