Flickr

I've known of it for awhile, but I've just now tried it out. I'm rather pleased.

I guess there's been some outrage over Yahoo's acquisition of the company, but I really don't what all the fuss is about getting a Yahoo ID. If it means I get to use Flickr, then bringit on.

Does anyone else here use Flickr?

Heh, when I saw the title for this thread I thought someone was asking for help with French, as in French flckr are the only consonants you'll pronounce at the end of a word . A bit random I know.

I've never had any problem with them. Honestly, I don't see the big picture I guess.

Ne'er 'erd ovit before.  Upon checking out, it's another myspace-ish online journal site, right? Any perks to it or major negatives.  Since I've already got 5 or so Yahoo IDs it's certainly a plus that I can have my own circle of kickass friends with minimal social effort.

No it's not a journal site at all, it's a photo-sharing site. Millions of photos everywhere. It's a social kindof thing, yes, but the emphasis is on photography.
