Farlander´s Pirate Quest Chapter 0. Contains mild nudity!

Farlander, just managed to see the animation. It's fine, but he looks like he's walking miles and miles. So large steps... And he's locked up. You might want to reconsider... OR maybe put this sprite in the cc so we can argue a bit more. That would be fun!

Here, I didn't really spend alot of time on this or try to match the shading of the top half, I left that for you (if you decide to use it).  This is 8 frames (down from the 10 of the original).  I didn't really touch it up at all, you could add some more shoulder movement and torso movement as well.  You can use it as a general guide anyway.

Wow, ProgZ, I like what you've done with the movement! I think that adding a chain to connect the manacles would be cool. It might be fun to animate the swinging chain.

As for side to side shoulder movement, I would keep it very subtle. I think his shoulders bounce a little too much up and down as it is. Maybe reduce that movement by 1 pixel.

i think the shoulders are fine, with his hands tied it gives him that feel of heaviness, like the chain is a burden. That is some awesome work progz. Keep the shoulders

i think the shoulders looks exactly right. overexagerration (i have no idea how to spell this word) is great, especially in an ags game. it just looks better.

And his legs look much better... before it looked like his legs belonged to someone else but he sewed them to himself.
His entire body bounces a bit too much... but that's trivial.  It looks good.

Jezus, are you people for real? Do you honestly find a naked man offensive? And in contradiction to a woman?!

My concerns lies more in the fact that this guy is like the posterchild for fitness+steroids.. or a chippendale.. Some bodily fat'd be nice, or hair.. no need to add to the equality inbetween sexes by objectifying males aswell.

Prog: That leg shading looks SO cartoony lowres. Gorgeous!

No one here is offended, or looking to objectify anything.  And a naked woman isn't unnofensive in contradiction, it's just easier to look at.  Don't take it that way.

One of the problems with him is that the lines and shadings of the rest of his body are darker than his legs are, giving them a strange look.

Ok, ok, I'd love Nacho to give us an update on this one. It looked like it was nearly ready two weeks ago.

There is a bottle neck in the animations, but I am advancing slowly. There is a major surprise in the game, but I think I can include it without CriticsLounging... So... let's wait till 10th (I might finish it in the scheduled time, but I am not sure about the scripting time...) So, lets add 5 more days to the date of 10.
