Have you given sword back to white pawn?  Has he given it back to white knight?

The black pawn has; fish with rope round it, whistle, badge to play in war, candle, and sword. The white pawn just has a flower. I don't know how to give anything to the white pawn....and also dont know how to help the spider man.....leaving work now. Will try again tomorrow.

Talk to the rook and tell him about the sword.  He'll give you a rope, and use it on the well.  If the black pawn is in the cave, he'll see the rope and attatch items to (any but the sword)

Ive tried speaking to the knight, rook and bishop about the sword, but when i try to talk to them he just says 'Bye.' So ive no idea how to get the rope for the white pawn ?

Help please.  I have handed the sword back, and the white pawn has played some check mate games but when I go to the black pawn I can't do anything.  The white rook has blocked my path and keeps saying to hand the sword back - but I have done - is this a bug?

Yes, sorry, I've had a look and if you give the sword back before trying to exit the cave then your bug will happen. You will have to go back to a save in the cave, before you give the sword back then try to exit the cave before you give the sword to the rope. Will fix.

Hi, don't know if this has been answered before, but I simply didn't find the answer in the whole thread:

How do I pass back the sword from the black to the white pawn? I can pass all other objects (except the badge; but I don't assume, that I have to pass this), but the black pawn simply doesn't want to give the sword away...
Also I don't know, how to get this shining object out from the stump... Could somebody please tell me? Or is this in some way the solution to my question before?

You don't need to do anything else with the black pawn once you hand back the sword, he has no need to leave the cave.  Once you finished all of the checkmates, ask rook about any other mates and the chess game should start.  It's the way I did it.

Am absolutely stuck on check mate 2 puzzle - the one with checkmate in 5 moves and the black king on H4 ..........anyone throw some light on this one please

The black king's up against the wall, so all you really have to do is make it so he can't go forward in any way.  You shouldn't put the king in check right away, otherwise you'll lose the advantage of having him at the wall.

Yes, I know about that bloody thing in the stump. But how do I get that out? The black pawn always keeps saying he is to short. Also I've tried all my inventory-items, nothing works. Can I do anything with the melt wax? or with the fish with rope?
Also, what is the wistle for? I can use it in front of the raven and he flies away. But that doesn't change anything.

There are a few ways to do this, but the easiest is to just walk the two rooks up the board, continually checking the King until he is stuck at the top edge when it'll be checkmate.

Send fish with string, to white pawn, then attach melted wax to fish. Give back to black pawn. and use on stump, then scare raven. You will then need to find red thing, but you'll know when you're warm.
