tour shirt layout

Hi

My band is going on a summertour across Europe in about a month and therefore we need a shirt we can sell along the way.
The shirt is going to be black and we can only press in one colour, so that's why the lay out is a little dull.

This is the back of the shirt...

Any surgestions how to make it better?

I'm guessing this is the back, the front would be nice with just the band logo.

Well, first, you should have the place you are playing and then the city (ie: CBGB's, New York City). The year should be listed at the top (2006 Tour), and if there's a date in 2007, then add it to the end of that single event. The spacing of the text seems a little wide to me. The bottom quote should have less space between the lines.

As for the printing, white tends to bleed more then other colors. Your character should have thicker lines because he will probably end up looking a tad blurry.

Also, I'm not too sure about the checkmarks. Maybe, "Mighty Midgets infected:".

Personally, I'd get rid of the block of white, and have the writing in that part colored.

Other than that, Evil's ideas are pretty solid.

As for the 26/27 June in London, if I can get the time off work, I'll be at one of them.

Nikolas - I think the tour dates you've found are right. All the dates and places can be found somewhere on our crappy site: www.mightymidgets.dk

Spleen - We've tried making the text and drawing white, but the white box had a way better feel to it.

Evil - Very useful.

ManicMatt - We are a punk band and we also suck pretty bad. BTW this is the back and there will be a small band logo on the front.

Ps. I hope some of you can make it to one of the shows, because I've never met anyone from the AGS community in real life and that would be cool...

The new version is definitely better. What happened to the "Talk to the nose blah blah.." bit though? I liked it.
I just listened to the music samples on your site. You rock! If nothing interferes, I'll either come to your show in Dortmund or Cologne. So save one of those shirts for me

The one thing that I react one is that the big bandname is supposed to look handdrawn/written. As such, it looks a little weird when exactly the same letters come to use several times. I think you should redraw the bandname by hand to give it that final touch.

Umm... remove the website for starters. It's unnecesary. I'd also agree with the handdrawn name, as it DOES look strange having the same letters pop up...
