Im not sure whether I should be posting in this section but it's the only section I could guess placing this post. (sorry if I was wrong)
I am in search for an adventure game I had once played on the Amiga.

Here are a few things that I can remember:
It was an adult themed, gorey adventure.
It was a birds eye view style, lush rendered background.

Missions included, as far as I can remember again...
Youre in a lift in which you needed to use to get to the penthouse suite (or the top floor),
Sometime in the game you find arsenic in a bedroom.
One scene in where you are outside in the rain and you need to use a spoon or sumthing to open this electrical box.

Please please could someone decipher my long faded memory.
It was a fantastic game!
Thankyou to all those who have taken there time to read this post!

Peace to all!

I haven't played it, so I can't say if it contains the scenes you describe, but with bird-eye view and gore, DreamWeb comes to mind.

Helm

It's Dreamweb. It's good. Play it again. READ THE MANUAL BEFORE YOU DO.

Thankyou, Ive been pondering over the title for a good while.

Well I've just been playing Dreamweb thanks to you guys, Im loving every minute of it, it is so well made!
Maybe not lush rendered graphics as i seem to have alleged to remember but back in those days they were very lush graphics!

ManicMatt

When the game was new I thought it had awful graphics.

And the demo, sheesh it just kills you off just like that, maybe thats why Helm is so insistent on you reading the manual. Maybe releasing a demo was a BAD idea.

The game is extremely difficult to complete which I suppose done it no favours, the games animations in cut-scenes are great though.

EDIT - Is there any other opinions on Dreamweb or am I the only guy who likes its style?

LimpingFish

I liked Dreamweb, sure.

Intially I found the perspective a little confusing, though.

I remember some reviews when it first came out (1994?) that didn't think much of it.

If memory serves, a UK magazine (Computer and Video Games?) scored it particularly low.

Dreamweb was neat but unforgiving and difficult to the point of being unenjoyable when I played it. But it was enjoyable with a walkthrough open.

There are things Dreamweb did that other adventure game creators might want to know about so in that sense I was glad I played it.
