Right, this does need improvement, because if you hadn't told me, I wouldn't know this was a goldfish!

Lets take a look at a goldfish.



I think the yellow bits you've done need work. Especially the back bit, hmm..

I don't know how to say it, so i did a paintover, observe the many changes and take from it what you want. (Rough paintover)

This will be the last time we crosspost, unless you do imporve your pic! Critic is there for one reason: to imporve! And especially the C&C lounge is here to improve the current images. I do honestly hope that you will post a new pic, with some changes...

Critic:

According to the pic, Matt posted, you are missing acouple of "flips". These could work really nicely!
Bring it's "loungs" a little closer and make them smaller (personal preference)
And make it's arse smaller. That's the major thing to correct!

You have shadows, and "some" details but still it could use some work...

You know, I think of a fish, and that doesn't really resemble a fish, not one with healthy anathomy. Jack's is more like it. I did a quick paintover too, just to show you my image of a fish like yours

Personally, I think that it needs to be more fish shaped as it looks to be in the shape of a bus.
