cuss words are one thing, but depicting rape is a bit over the line when it's the matter of a public forum.

I'd recommend that you work on the visual style some more. As it stands, there's only so many jokes you can do with mono-expressioned square men being cruel and bizarre. From the comics I read, I only saw one joke. And you've used it four times already. Possibly more, the other comics wouldn't display for me.

Undirected rant warning
I miss the days when web comics were actually drawn by people.

A good webcomic, in my opinion, needs humour (or plot, depends on what you're going for) and eye candy. A comic that only has one part of this formula is like a baby born at 24 weeks. It lies, soaked in blood and pulsating gently, screaming for a death that's as likely to come as not. Of course, some premature babies survive, and go on to have healthy, long, fulfilling lives. It just seems to me that if the drawing part still doesn't gel, then maybe comics aren't the best outlet for that humour.

But yeah, in brief, I'd suggest raising the level of the illustrations or raising the level of the writing.
